CPE (Church Partnership Evangelism)
Mark and Cheryl are serving with CPE International as the Director for Central & South America along with Inca Link a compassion ministry started by Alliance missionaries. Mark and Cheryl mostly work alongside Quichua Indian Pastors who are planting churches where there are no churches. We train pastors and lay members to share the gospel and disciple new believers. The work with Inca Link is to mentor inters, and administer short term teams coming from North America. They connect Inca Link teams with ongoing compassion ministries and with church plants. The Shafers also spend time in other countries, including Nicaragua.
