Grand Centre Alliance Involvement

Knowing that the Christian and Missionary Alliance has a rich history of sending missionaries to foreign fields, some would ask, has it always been that way. The answer is YES! In fact the Christian and Missionary Alliance started out as two separate organizations, one a missionary sending organization, and the other that sought to engage followers of Jesus into a deeper walk with him. The C&MA has been sending missionaries long before we even became a denomination.

At the heart of our desire to send missionaries is the love that God has and wants to show to those that do not know him. This has stemmed from God's word and affirmed in the commissioning words of Jesus "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Today, Canadian Alliance Churches have 237 missionaries currently working in 60 countries. And because of the work of Alliance Churches globally, 81 countries have C&MA churches and/or other ministries. We are grateful for the grace that God has shown us in how he has allowed us to be used by him.
